Descripció i Metodologia: |
During this course you will learn about some non-standard and at the same time joyful resources to teach and learn maths including examples of activities which could be used in the classroom. You will find out about the Global Math Project and their “Exploding dots” resource. Other topics include math history, math and magic activities, MMACA materials, enigmas, puzzles, Board games and some geometry. The course offers exemplary activities and inspiration for you to create your own activities for your students.

Continguts |
We are living in a world with so many available online resources with which teachers are equipped, that the knowledge of English is a window to the rest of the world.
Introduction Module: Presentation and sharing of AICLE Resources
Introduction module with resources and examples of the CLIL program which should give you some ideas of how to implement it into the math classroom.
Module 1: Exploding Dots
Meet the Exploding Dots, a resource for working with numerical systems, arithmetic operations and algebraic concepts in a new, amazing and totally different way.
Module 2: Math and Magic
Learn how to use magic in the classroom with examples how to introduce some mathematical concepts and/or to enjoy doing math.
Module 3: Enigmas and MMACA puzzles
Discover how to adapt some traditional board games to teach math concepts and discover some amazing puzzles from MMACA. Some examples will be provided.
Module 4: Geometry
We will share some engaging geometry problems which will be solved during the session.
Module 5: History of Maths
Discover some events and curiosities from math history to make the subject much more interesting to students.
Conclusion Module: Create a joyful math activity (Virtual meeting)
Share the created joyful activity.

Secondary teachers (ESO, BAT and CFA) with a B2 minimum.
Requisits:
1. Disposar d'usuari XTEC actiu.
2. Haver certificat les activitats de formació adjudicades durant aquest curs acadèmic i l'anterior.
Criteris específics d’adjudicació. Les sol•licituds admeses s'ordenaran en funció de:
1.Vinculació al centre de treball 2.1.Funcionari 2.2.Interí 2.3. Substitut
2.Nivell de llengua C2,C1,B2.
Si ets docent d'un centre concertat, municipal o les acreditacions d’especialitat i/o nivell de llengua (C2, C1 o B2) requerides a la convocatòria no consten a l’ATRI, caldrà omplir aquest FORMULARI dins del període de sol•licitud.
